“I fell in love with cutting hair when I was about 13. Mum bought me a set of cheap clippers from Coles and I started cutting my own hair, and anyone who would let me practise on them! It’s the atmosphere of a barbershop that makes this job so fulfilling. You have the ability to learn new skills and improve every day.”

“The journey into barbering began with a playful act of cutting my friends’ hair, which eventually led me to pursue it as a profession.
With three years of experience under my belt, I have discovered that my love for barbering stems from two main sources: I love connecting with new people and the artistic satisfaction that comes with transforming haircuts into works of art.”

“I’ve always been a laid-back person who loves a good chat, and barbering has given me the perfect space for that. I started barbering at Black Wolf five years ago and quickly found a passion for creating sharp, versatile cuts while connecting with clients. I took a short break in Townsville but couldn’t stay away for long, and now I’m back where it all began.
What I love most about barbering is the people, every day is a chance to meet someone new, hear their stories, and make sure they leave looking and feeling their best.”

“I’m just starting out on my barbering journey as a 1st year apprentice here at Black Wolf. I first got interested in barbering from sitting in the chair myself. I’d come in for regular cuts with Billy and Jackson and built a good connection with them, it felt like chatting with mates. Watching what they did with my hair made me curious, so I started asking questions and decided this is what i wanted to do.
I did my first haircut on this year and haven’t looked back since. What I love most is the social side of barbering, meeting people, having conversations, and making sure every client leaves happy and confident after their cut. Yes I’m just starting out, but I’m so excited to keep learning and growing with the team here at Black Wolf.”

“I started barbering at Central Coast Sports College before joining Black Wolf about a year and a half ago. Since then, I’ve really grown into the craft and built up my style, from sharp fades to classic cuts.
For me, barbering is all about consistency and giving clients a clean result every time. I like to keep things relaxed in the chair, have a chat, and make sure everyone walks out looking fresh and feeling confident. Being part of the Black Wolf team has pushed me to keep improving and take my skills to the next level.”
